How Pricing Works

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Plain-language summary. Gymme doesn't have a price list — there's nothing to "buy." You choose a fitness goal and set your own stake (starting at $5, with quick presets at $10 / $25 / $50, and a custom amount above that — there's no fixed maximum). Your card is charged that amount up front through our payment provider, Paddle, the moment you start. Meet your goal and we refund 100% of your stake, with zero platform fee. Miss it and the already-collected stake is retained by Gymme — that's how the service is funded. There's no subscription, no recurring bill, and no fundable wallet or cash-out balance: money only ever moves between your payment method and Gymme.

This page explains how money moves through Gymme (the "App" and "Service"), operated by Igor Blinovski, an individual entrepreneur registered under the laws of the Republic of Armenia (registration/TIN No. 28158204), trading as "Gymme" ("Gymme", "we", "us", "our"). It's a plain-language companion to our Refund Policy and Terms of Service — if anything here and those documents ever conflict, the Refund Policy and Terms of Service control.

1. There's no product catalog — you set the price

Gymme doesn't sell fixed-price items, tiers, or subscriptions. Instead, each time you start a commitment you choose:

  • a goal — a number of gym visits over a week or a month, and
  • a stake — an amount of your own money, starting at a $5 minimum. The app suggests quick presets ($10, $25, $50) or you can enter a custom amount. There is currently no maximum stake.

You decide how much "skin in the game" makes the goal stick. There is nothing to purchase beyond the stake itself — no fees, no add-ons, no in-app currency.

2. What happens to your money

StepWhat happens
You start a commitmentYour stake is charged to your payment method immediately, via our payment provider, Paddle
You meet your goalYour stake is refunded in full to the same payment method — 100%, zero fee
You miss your goalThe already-collected stake is retained by Gymme — this funds the service

That's the entire pricing model. We only make money when a commitment is missed; we take $0 from a successful one.

3. What this is, and what it isn't

  • This is not a subscription. There's no recurring charge. Each commitment is a one-time, self-contained transaction.
  • This is not a stored-value wallet. There's no balance you fund, hold, or cash out. Money moves in only one of two directions: from your payment method to Gymme (on a miss), or back to your payment method as a refund (on a win).
  • This is not gambling. The amount you get back depends entirely on your own verified behavior — whether you completed the gym visits you committed to — not on chance, odds, or any other user's outcome. See the "Is this gambling?" answer on our homepage FAQ and Section 1.3 of our Refund Policy for the full explanation.

4. Safety nets that affect your stake

A few built-in features can protect a stake without changing the underlying pricing model:

  • Freezes — a limited number of no-penalty pauses per year (life happens: illness, travel) that pause a commitment without forfeiting the stake.
  • Appeals — if a GPS check-in fails due to a verified technical error and you can show you genuinely attended, we credit the check-in rather than counting it as a miss.
  • Self-exclusion — you can block yourself from starting new commitments for a fixed period (30/90/or 365 days) at any time, from Settings.

None of these change what you pay to start a commitment — they only affect whether a given commitment ends in a refund or a retained stake.

5. Currency, processing, and your statement

  • Amounts are shown and processed in USD (or your local currency where the app displays one).
  • All payment processing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — Gymme never stores your full card number. See our Refund Policy, Section 6 for how charges appear on your statement and how disputes are handled.
  • For the full legal detail on refund timing, statutory withdrawal rights (including the EU/UK 14-day right), chargebacks, and promotional credits, see our Refund Policy.

6. Relationship to our other terms

  • Refund Policy — the full legal terms governing stake charges, refunds, and withdrawal rights
  • Terms of Service — the overall contract governing your use of Gymme
  • Privacy Policy — how we collect and use your data
